It’s no surprise that David Lee couldn’t catch a Raymond Felton lob on Dallas’ first possession Friday night.
Lee’s eyes were probably still glossed over from an emotional pregame ceremony that thanked him for his five seasons with the Warriors and his vital role in the team’s 2015 NBA championship.
“It was quite a journey, and to end that last year with the ultimate thing that you want to accomplish in sports … nothing could have better,” Lee said before his first game at Oracle Arena since being traded this summer. “It’s great to celebrate that and enjoy it one last time.
