As the Golden State Warriors’ season slowly deteriorates, including a horrific 40-point home loss to the Boston Celtics on Monday, two NBA insiders are suggesting the Warriors strongly consider trading one of their two remaining links to four championships in Draymond Green.
Bobby Marks, ESPN’s front office insider and former Brooklyn Nets assistant general manager, was a guest on Kevin O’Connor’s Yahoo Sports podcast on Tuesday, and the two held a lengthy discussion on the possibility of trading both Green and Steph Curry. While Marks acknowledged a Curry trade is highly unlikely, he advocated for other NBA teams to “make a call” on Green.
