Draymond Green, Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant have all been fined after making public comments about NBA officials.
The NBA levied fines of $35,000 for Green, $25,00o for Curry and $15,000 for Durant after their comments in the aftermath of a contentious March 31 loss to the Timberwolves. Both Green and Curry were found to have "impugned the integrity of NBA officiating" and Durant's fine was given for "public criticism of the officiating," the NBA announced in a press release.
The conflict arose from a game officiated by 10-year veteran Marat Kogut. The Warriors took exception to Kogut's officiating throughout the game, and after the Warriors ended up losing due to a controversial call on the game's final possession, Curry called Kogut "the MVP of tonight.
