It’s been 10 days since Klay Thompson’s emotional homecoming to the Bay Area for the epic showdown with the Golden State Warriors. But that one rousing effort against his former team has masked what’s otherwise been a tough beginning in Dallas for Thompson.
Thompson and the Warriors will both be featured on ESPN’s doubleheader Friday night, with the Warriors playing at the Pelicans before Thompson and the Mavs face the Nuggets in Denver. While Warriors fans may have only seen their longtime fav in his Nov. 12 return to Chase Center, Thompson’s overall season so far is showing a player on the downslope of his career.
