It has been a wild two days for the Golden State Warriors. On Monday night, during a loss to the Los Angeles Clippers, emotions boiled over when Draymond Green turned the ball over on the final play of regulation, forcing overtime.
Kevin Durant wanted the ball (as did Klay Thompson), and tensions rose in the huddle. After the game, those tensions carried over into the locker room, where the discussion angrily continued. Teammates aired concerns with Green’s decision-making, Green aired issues with Durant, and KD skipped town before meeting with the media.
