Regardless of which team a fan rooted for in Tuesday’s Warriors-Grizzlies play-in game, the prevailing sentiment when the final buzzer sounded was pretty much the same across the board: The officials really mucked things up.
The NBA validated that sentiment Wednesday when it released an official Last Two Minute Report about Golden State’s 121-116 victory over Memphis. In it, the league listed four mistakes that officials made from 2:07 left in regulation to when the clock hit zero, although not every missed call would have gone the Warriors’ way.
As a matter of fact, the first incorrect non-call the report details was against Draymond Green, who should have been called for a shooting foul against Scotty Pippen Jr.
