Depending on where someone watched Wednesday’s Warriors-Grizzlies game, they heard commentators either call for immediate punishment against Draymond Green or ardently defend the Golden State forward.
About halfway through the second quarter, Green got into a confrontation with Memphis forward Santi Aldama. The Grizzlies player had just scored on Green and began to head toward the other side of the court. The problem: Arguably the most volatile player in the NBA was in his path.
As if Aldama had committed some grave offense with his layup, Green blocked Aldama from running down the court and then grabbed his jersey and shoved him backward with two hands.
