When the Warriors defeated the Los Angeles Clippers to close out the first round of the playoffs, they were zipping the ball around the court in a tic tac toe pattern all game long. Except for Patrick Beverly’s pesky, twerking defense the Clippers did nothing to disrupt to the flow of the Warriors ball and player movement offense. Once the Warriors turned to Houston, the flow was disrupted and on-court passages closed up like clogged arteries. The Warriors had to fight, elbow and scrap for every basket. Tuesday night’s game at the Oracle against the Portland Trailblazers was a lot more like Game 6 of the Clippers series.
