With Stephen Curry undergoing surgery and scheduled for re-evaluation in February of next year, the Warriors have officially waved the white flag – tanking season is upon us. Yesterday, the coaching staff (finally) dumbed down the offensive system, put the ball in D’Angelo Russell’s hands, and managed to stay competitive for a half before San Antonio took control of the game – the Dubs eventually took a 127-110 loss. Now, two more Warriors find themselves on the injury report – Draymond Green, for a sprained left index finger, and the aforementioned Russell, who tweaked his ankle. The Warriors’ DNP list now spans all 4 All-Stars (and is worth in excess of a billion dollars).
