Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr had some very pointed comments for Brandin Podziemski after Tuesday’s 119-115 loss against the Denver Nuggets, calling out the second-year guard’s poor decision-making throughout the night. On Wednesday, during an interview with 95.7 The Game, Kerr elaborated on those comments, explaining how crucial it is for Podziemski to take that “next step” in his development in order for the team to reach their full potential.
“We just need Brandin to speed up the process because, like you guys were talking about it, we’ve got Steph and Draymond who are Hall of Famers and still playing at a really high level, but they’re older and we’re trying to fit this thing together now and have a great season.
