Draymond Green has a pretty clear idea on why fellow NBA players retain resentment for Stephen Curry.
Jealousy.
“All of it goes back to the old saying: They want to see you do good, but never better than them,” Green said on the latest episode of his podcast, Uninterrupted’s Dray Day. “That’s what it boils down to; that’s jealousy. … They want to see you do extremely good, but they never want to see you do better than them — and he’s doing better than a lot of people.”
Furthermore, he added, Curry bucked expectations with his NBA stardom.
