Draymond Green gave the Golden State Warriors quite a scare when he sprained his ankle on Saturday during the team’s loss to the Houston Rockets. And while the former Defensive Player of the Year limped off the court and didn’t return, he seems optimistic that the injury isn’t very bad.
Speaking to reporters after the game, Green explained why he had been in so much pain despite not appearing to roll his ankle when he stepped on the foot of DeMarcus Cousins. He also expressed confidence that he’ll be back on the court soon.
