OAKLAND -- Draymond Green was named the NBA's Player of the Week Monday following back-to-back triple-double performances in Warriors victories against the Houston Rockets and Denver Nuggets.
It was the first time Green has won the award, and he was feeling good about that following shootaround practice."It's pretty amazing," he said. "It's a blessing. I did it before (back-to-back triple-doubles earlier in the season) and it didn't quite work out for me. It did this time."It was the fourth time a Warriors player has won the award this season. Stephen Curry won the award three times in the first six weeks.
