SAN FRANCISCO — Forward Draymond Green will miss Monday’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder with a lingering right heel issue, giving the Warriors only eight available players for the third straight game.
“Yeah, it’s lingering,” coach Steve Kerr said of Green’s heel. “It doesn’t seem like it’s going to be anything that goes on for too long, but it’s also not something we want to aggravate and then keep him out for a long period of time. So we just felt more comfortable giving him another couple of days.”
Green, who will miss his third game with his heel issue, was expected to return on Monday, but the Warriors have been cautious with the 29-year-old forward.
