The Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets are in a perpetual arms race with each other to run the West. The Warriors have repeatedly knocked Houston out of the playoffs in knock-down, drag-out wars, but that hasn’t stopped “Clutch City” from making splashy roster changes every summer to keep up with the Golden Empire.
This year was no different, as Houston shipped out Chris Paul to Oklahoma City in exchange for an MVP in Russell Westbrook. On the flip side, the Warriors are retooling on the fly after losing an MVP of their own in Kevin Durant.
