Few celebrities faze a Warriors team that features some of the world’s most famous players. But when music moguls Jimmy Iovine and Andre “Dr. Dre” Young stopped by practice Tuesday morning, NBA All-Stars found themselves staring, mouths agape, at two men they’ve long admired.
“Our guys were pretty pumped up,” Golden State head coach Steve Kerr said.
Iovine and Young were on hand at the Warriors’ practice facility as guest speakers for a group discussion about business. Typically, the annual meeting sanctioned by the National Basketball Players Association is spent reviewing the nuances of the NBA salary cap.
