DeMarcus Cousins is a huge fan of stand-up comedy.
"I grew up in a household where we watched a lot of comedy," he said to Warriors TV play-by-play man Bob Fitzgerald. "It's just something I've always enjoyed."
On Thursday night, Cousins is hosting the third annual "Boogie's Comedy Slam" at the Paramount Theater in Oakland.
"The whole idea came from the Shaq comedy specials," Cousins explained to Fitzgerald on KNBR 680.
