OAKLAND – DeMarcus Cousins isn’t out for retribution. If he were, he would have pushed and probably demanded to be active on Jan. 16, when his former team, the New Orleans Pelicans, visit the Warriors at Oracle Arena.
The Warriors center instead has targeted his return for the very next game, Jan. 18 against the Clippers in Los Angeles, which indicates he is not interested in sticking it to the franchise he feels abandoned him after he ruptured his left Achilles’ tendon last January.
“Nah, I’m past that point in my life,” Cousins said Thursday.
