OAKLAND – Following practice Friday afternoon, injured Warriors center DeMarcus Cousins threw down a thunderous dunk on teammate Kevin Durant to seal a win in their post-practice one-on-one game.
The play left onlookers in shock and signified the next step in Cousins’ rehabilitation from a torn Achilles.
“He beat me today,” Durant said shortly after. “But I live to fight another day.”

The scrimmage – which was the second between the two players this week in front of reporters – was physical throughout, with the two players playfully wrestling along the baseline as Cousins played defense.
