DeMarcus Cousins active for Warriors in Thursday’s Game 1

Warriors center DeMarcus Cousins will be active for Game 1 of the NBA Finals, coach Steve Kerr said at the team’s shootaround in Toronto on Thursday morning.

Cousins has been out since April 15 when he suffered a tear in his left quad. The non-contact injury came in the second game of the first round. It was the first postseason game of Cousins’ 11-season career.

He missed three months of the regular season while rehabbing a torn Achilles.
