It wasn’t supposed to play out like this. A week after the Milwaukee Bucks broke the Warriors’ win streak, this revenge game was supposed to be an opportunity for the Warriors to re-establish their dominance and teach the Bucks a lesson in humility (despite the Warriors’ own chatter all week long). Instead, the game once again proved to be a bit of a reversal of fortune. While the Warriors are used to drawing motivation from other team’s words, it was the Bucks who seemed approached the game with an edge given the Warriors’ comments. And the same strategies that won the game for the Bucks last week nearly worked again on the Warriors’ home court.
