After struggling for most of the series, fans thought superstar Steph Curry found his range after erupting in the fourth quarter of Game 5. While he helped lead them in that victory, his success didn’t carry over to the start of Game 6.
Curry went into the half with zero points. However, the Warriors weren’t down. Tied at 57, the Rockets basically played a Warriors team completely without Kevin Durant for the entire game and theoretically without Stephen Curry for the first half.
They had to blow this game out in the first half. They didn’t, and the Warriors bench is the reason they weren’t able to take a lead into the half.
