OAKLAND – Wearing red shower sandals with a black sock on his right foot, Stephen Curry walked out of the Warriors practice facility early Sunday afternoon without any trace of a limp.
That’s about as good a sign as the Warriors can expect after Curry tweaked his right ankle Saturday afternoon in the second quarter of a Game 1 victory over Houston.
Curry expressed optimism, saying this “tweak” is not as severe as that sustained to his left ankle on Feb. 27 in Oklahoma City. The reigning MVP left that game, only to return and score the game-winning basket.
