With a little over seven minutes remaining in the Warriors-Knicks game on Sunday night, Steph Curry came off an on-ball screen and found Carmelo Anthony guarding him.
As the MVP plotted how he would attack, Anthony stuck his right hand out and essentially planted the palm of his hand on Curry's forehead.
Anthony was immediately whistled for a foul.
"Yeah, I got a nice wound," Curry explained on The Dan Patrick Show on Monday morning. "It was a nice hand check.
"I was ready to make a move and I kind of got into my package and tried to escape the claw, but I was unsuccessful.
