Cometh and Goeth (Warriors 113, Raptors 121 and Warriors / Sixers Open Thread)

I meant to write this on Thursday night, but I had a huge headache and cough that persisted through all of Friday. Coincidentally, it appears one Mr. Wardell Stephen Curry II was also experiencing the same feeling, as his successful (but not quite triumphant) return to basketball was promptly followed by him catching the flu. Luckily, an initially cryptic report was followed up with clarification that it isn’t COVID-19 – which is a huge relief for the Warriors and for anyone who was inside Chase Center for Steph’s return. In any case, focusing on basketball matters, Steph’s return instantaneously elevated the Warriors’ collective game and makes them a must watch through the rest of the season.
