Comcast gave some Bay Area sports fans less than 24 hours’ notice about a change to their Xfinity television package that could prevent them from watching the Golden State Warriors, San Jose Sharks and San Francisco Giants.
On Monday morning, Comcast sent an email to its Bay Area subscribers informing them that Comcast was moving the NBC Sports Bay Area and NBC Sports California (which broadcasts the Sacramento Kings) channels to a higher tier.
