LeBron James delivered on his life’s work Sunday night in Oakland, winning a championship with his teammates and finally bringing a trophy home to Ohio.
In doing so, James and the Cavaliers vanquished the ghosts of all those Cleveland sports stars who authored stunning, heartbreaking, soul-crushing defeats in years gone by. All is forgotten... at least for one night. The King finally delivered a whole region from its curse.
