Chris Paul, the Houston Rockets star guard, will miss Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals, the team announced Friday morning.
Paul injured his right hamstring in the final minutes of Houston’s 98-94 victory over the Warriors in Game 5 on Thursday night. The series will resume Saturday night in Oakland with the defending champion Warriors on the brink of elimination, trailing the best-of-seven three games to two.
Paul’s condition, and status for Game 7, if necessary, will be re-evaluated Sunday, the Rockets said.
