Many have been dubious of the Golden State Warriors’ decision to acquire Jimmy Butler in a blockbuster trade with the Miami Heat, especially in light of the $121 million extension the team granted Butler.
But don’t count “The Podfather" among the skeptics: Bill Simmons, the prominent sports podcaster and founder of The Ringer, didn’t just like the move for the Warriors. He thought Golden State fleeced Miami. Speaking on a live episode of his eponymous podcast on Thursday, Simmons couldn’t stop heaping praise on the Warriors' front office.
