In October three friends and I had a tour of Chase Center. (One of those friends is a friend of one of the developers of Chase Center and its environs—hence the invitation.) With us were the developer, two architects of the project, and W’s VP of construction and development, Peter Bryan.
What struck me most was the W’s underground practice facility. Private security entrance for players. Barbershop. More a restaurant than some kind of post-game buffet. Expansive state-of-the-art training facilities. Individual shower quarters. A “decompression room” for after games. I think (if I’m remembering right) a sensory-deprivation tank (or two).
