OAKLAND -- The 41-4 Warriors can move ahead of the winning pace of the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls with a victory against the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday.
Warriors coach Steve Kerr, who played on the Bulls' 72-win team, said Tuesday that for him, the NBA record is, for him, something not worth thinking about at this stage of the season."At this point, there's half the season left and so many things can happen," Kerr said. "It's not anything that we talk about as a team, and it's not our focus."Everything has to go right, so to me it's not really worth discussing until there's a few weeks left in the season and it's actually a possibility.
