Carjacking suspect also charged with stealing Warriors coach's car

OAKLAND -- A man suspected in the beating and carjacking last Thursday of a 74-year-old Montclair woman has also been charged with stealing a Mercedes belonging to Golden State Warriors interim head coach Luke Walton two days earlier, according to authorities and court documents.

The suspect, Lamonte Campbell, 20, of Oakland was charged Monday with seven felony counts in the two incidents.He was charged with carjacking, assault with force likely to produce great bodily injury, first-degree residential burglary, unlawful driving or taking of a vehicle, and evading an officer with willful disregard in the attack on the woman.
