California bans smokeless tobacco in state's sports facilities

Baseball has tried for a while to stop players from using smokeless tobacco. Has it worked? Not so much. But now extra muscle is being provided by California, which is banning the use of smokeless tobacco in all its sports facilities -- not just baseball.

Gov. Jerry Brown's signature made California the first state to take sure measures, although San Francisco politicos banned it in May. What we want to know is how it's going to be enforced? Players buy it in bulk, and if one guy runs short, there's always a teammate to borrow from.
