Buddy Hield is joining the Golden State Warriors from the Philadelphia 76ers after a sign-and-trade earlier this week.
Hield will get two years and $21 million guaranteed while the 76ers will get a 2031 second-round pick in return.
Per BasketNews' Edvinas Jablonkskis, the three-point specialist believed the Warriors were the right fit for him despite having reported contract offers from the Los Angeles Lakers and Detroit Pistons.
"It seemed like a perfect fit," Hield said. "Growing up, watching their style of play. The way they coach, the players around them – Steph [Curry], Draymond [Green], [Andrew] Wiggins.
