Golden State Warriors president of basketball operations Bob Myers said on 95.7 The Game that he walked into New York's Pride Parade immediately after Kevin Durant told him he was leaving the Warriors for the Brooklyn Nets.
"I walked out, I didn't know where I was," Myers said on the Joe, Lo & Dibs show on Tuesday. "I got swept up in the parade."
He said he was trying to call Warriors owner Joe Lacob to relay the news about Durant, but he "couldn't hear anything."
"Guy's caught up in a parade in Greenwich Village," one of the hosts of the show said moments later before they all broke out in laughter.
