Bob Myers, the architect behind the greatest era in Golden State Warriors history, announced Tuesday that he's stepping down as the team's president and general manager.
The 48-year-old has been with the Dubs since 2011, and served as general manager since 2012. Myers' contract does not officially expire until June 30, but speculation about his future began ramping up the moment the Warriors were eliminated from the playoffs.
Myers told ESPN of his decision, "It's just time."
