Sports talk radio has a knack for bombastic opinions about local sports news items, but one recent guest pushed the envelope pretty damn far.
John Dickinson, a Bay Area radio host and reporter, appeared on 95.7 The Game’s “Steiny & Guru” on Monday to discuss Kings star De’Aaron Fox dealing with a fractured index finger suffered in the fourth quarter of Game 4, which puts his status for Game 5 of the series against the Golden State Warriors in jeopardy. What Dickinson offered was a tremendous take insinuating that the news of this injury was leaked to The Athletic insider Shams Charania for the sake of building a “heroic” narrative, and the entire thing was orchestrated by the sports agency run by Rich Paul — businessman and famous friend of LeBron James.
