The Northern California playoff battle between the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings has brought out big names to Sacramento.
Given that it’s been 17 years since the Kings were last in the playoffs, it makes sense that among those big names are players from the organization’s last successful era. This includes Vlade Divac, whose mediocre tenure as general manager was not quite enough to get run out of town, Bobby Jackson and Jason “White Chocolate” Williams. All three made the postseason with Sacramento.
Another star athlete from that period is in the crowd as well, though he’s more associated with the city of the opposing team: Barry Bonds.
