OAKLAND – For most of the game Wednesday night, Harrison Barnes’ face was a mask that alternated between mild disappointment and sheer frustration as a result missing three of the four shots he had taken.
“When you keep shooting shots that you make all the time and you just don’t see it go in,” Barnes said, “you kind of just shake your head.”
The mask peeled away, evolving into a veneer of relief, at precisely the perfect time in a 112-108 Warriors win over the Clippers at Oracle Arena.
With the Warriors trailing 97-87 and 7:48 remaining, Barnes dropped in a floating eight-foot jumper.
