How can we adequately mourn the Beatles of pro basketball if Andre Iguodala’s book won’t let us?
Iggy’s book, “The Sixth Man” got widespread national play earlier this month as he dropped in on the East Coast’s media movers and shakers. Set against the rush of the conclusion of the NBA Finals, the devastating injuries to Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson, Durant’s defection to Brooklyn and the dizzying dance of trades and free agent signings, there was hardly time to be wistful over the demise of the superteam.
Now, a month later, to double back on Iguodala’s book is to have it hit home.
