If an NBA team were preparing for the playoffs, and they could select any bench player to join their squad, Andre Iguodala just might be that choice.
In 2019, Iguodala once again proved his worth to the Golden State Warriors when the games mattered most. As soon as the playoffs rolled around, the former All-Star and Finals MVP returned to looking like one of the most athletic players in the league, and one of the sport’s top perimeter defenders and playmakers.
Iguodala was much better in the playoffs than the regular season, and as a result, he was never really in the running for the NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year award, even though everyone recognizes him as one of the league’s best bench players.
