The Golden State Warriors certainly weren’t hoping to suffer any injuries on opening night. But they were unable to make it through the first half unscathed.
In the second quarter of Tuesday’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, sixth man Andre Iguodala exited the game, and went straight to the locker room. The team announced that he had left with calf tightness, and is questionable to return for the rest of the contest.
While the injury is minor, it’s still a bit concerning for Warriors fans. Iguodala was held back during parts of training camp due to rib soreness, and the calf tightness is occurring in the same leg that was injured during the 2018 playoffs.
