“Next to nothing” because they might sideways bespeak—as they do this pre-season for the W’s—an out-of-the-gate team-wide focus. Made most evident (and most tellingly so) in the team’s entirely willing and unfractured internal unanimity about their style of play.
That style of play has been unwavering jump-ball to final buzzer for five pre-season games now. Doesn’t even seem as if it was acquired. Seems more bred in the bone. And far from needing to be converted, the newcomer vets seem more like a booster shot for how the W’s need to play.
