For the second year in a row, Kevin Durant will lace up his sneakers for Team LeBron James at the All-Star Game. James had the first overall pick in Thursday’s All-Star Draft, and, just as he did a year ago, he picked KD. With the very next pick, Giannis Antetokounmpo chose Steph Curry, once again pitting the Golden State Warriors MVPs against each other.
In round two, when the reserves were selected, Klay Thompson went fourth overall, joining Durant on Team LeBron James. Was that James showing respect to one of his rivals, or getting in on some All-Star Game recruiting?
