After stellar back-to-back wins, the Warriors have the NBA's attention

Winners of five straight, including back-to-back victories over two of the top teams in the league, the Golden State Warriors are generating buzz as legitimate title contenders.

The Ringer’s Bill Simmons led his podcast on Thursday with a segment about the Warriors after their triumph over the Los Angeles Lakers (which seemed to genuinely annoy Lakers star LeBron James).

“Curry is starting to play his way towards second-team All-NBA,” said Bill Simmons after Steph’s 37-point performance in the win. Curry is averaging a staggering 41.7 points per game in April.

“They’re the second best team in the Western Conference, I strongly believe that,” said ESPN’s Kendrick Perkins, who isn’t exactly known for being Golden State’s biggest on-air supporter, on Friday.
