Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry had his best regular season game in a while Thursday night, dropping 34 points in a 113-102 road victory against the Denver Nuggets.
Curry's most notable moment at Ball Arena came before the game, though — and no, we're not referring to his warm-up circus shots.
As NBC Bay Area's Kerith Burke reported, 10-year-old Dubs fan PJ was scheduled to go to the Warriors-Nuggets game in late December, but the game was postponed due to COVID protocols. Then this past Monday, March 7, PJ went to the makeup game, only to (tearfully) learn that Curry and other Golden State starters didn't make the trip.
