A segment about the slow-motion collapse of the Utah Jazz on ABC's Warriors-Celtics Game 2 pregame show briefly went off the rails Sunday night, as the very mention of Donovan Mitchell caused Stephen A. Smith to lose his mind, and ABC producers to lose control of their fingers.
The panel of Smith, Michael Wilbon, Jalen Rose and Mike Greenberg were discussing Sunday's news that Quinn Snyder had stepped down as head coach of the Jazz and Mitchell was "unsettled" about it. That led to a Rose and Smith exchange regarding the potential that the Jazz may blow things up, which included ABC completely missing an intended bleep of part of Smith's rant.
