A misguided Toronto Raptors fan reportedly set off fireworks outside of the Warriors' team hotel at 3 a.m. in an attempt to rouse the team from its pre-NBA Finals slumber.
Video posted on Instagram shows a Raptors fan setting up a row of fireworks in front of the St. Regis Toronto, where the Golden State Warriors are staying. After igniting them, the fan jumps into a car and drives off as a series of loud pops can be heard in the background.
Besides being incredibly childish, the move also may backfire: According to a number of fans on the Toronto Raptors subreddit, Raptors center Serge Ibaka lives in the building as well.
