Yesterday, Kevin Durant was asked by Knicks television about playing at Madison Square Garden. He called the Garden a “playground with walls” and compared it to the famous Rucker Park. The analogy was apt as the Warriors and Knicks played a playground style game last night, with the absence of good defense by the Warriors in the third period and the absence of any semblance of defense by the Knicks in the 4th.
Of course, Durant was probably asked the question about playing in New York because the Knicks have been a much-rumored landing spot for KD after this season when he is once again a free agent.
