52 and an L (Warriors 119, Wolves 125 + Warriors / Thunder Open Thread)

This one stings a bit, doesn’t it? With D’Angelo Russell returning from injury and playing one of the best offensive games of his young career, the frisky Golden State Warriors were 4 points up and 29 seconds away from a victory against a Western Conference playoff hopeful. But a series of late game mishaps allowed the Minnesota Timberwolves to force an overtime period, where a dagger 3 from Andrew Wiggins, of all people, sent the Warriors to the next destination on their road trip with a tough loss. Despite a whopping 52 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals, and and 2 blocks from DLo, the Dubs now sit at the bottom of the Pacific Division and are left to rue what could have been.
